Nadine did her Teacher Training Course with Clara Woodburn at Yoga Warrior, Parktown North, Johannesburg. Her studies included anatomy, asana, hands-on adjustments, pranayama, philosophy and meditation. Nadine has been practicing yoga since 2002 and her teaching method incorporates various yoga styles including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, Anusara, Forrest and Iyengar Yoga. Nadine has also completed Level 1 of the “Teaching Children Yoga” workshop facilitated by world renowned Yoga for Children practitioner, Coco van Oppens.
Nadine started her yoga practice in 2002 to find release, peace and relaxation from anxiety following the birth of her first baby. Today, 13 years later, the journey continues and Nadine still uses her daily yoga practice as a haven from the stressors and routines of daily life.
“Yoga brings me joy. It is something that stays deep within that I am lucky to access whenever I need it. Yoga makes me feel content with who I am and with everything around me”.
“In my practice, I often think back to my first yoga class – what it did for me and why I stuck with it? It is that very same feeling that draws me back on the mat daily.”
